Franklin High School student killed in hit-and-run

STOCKTON — A Franklin High School student was struck and killed in a hit-and-run early Thursday, and the alleged driver surrendered to police eight hours later.Antonio Araujo, 30, of Stockton, turned himself in to Tracy Police at about 2:41 p.m. and was taken into custody by California Highway Patrol, authorities said.Araujo was driving a blue 2001 Chevy Blazer that allegedly struck 16-year old sophomore Michael Teixeira, who was skateboarding to school around 6:19 [...]
