Witness: McEnroe couldn’t defy girlfriend over Carnation slayings

A defense expert testified Wednesday that Joseph McEnroe was too dependent, submissive and abused by his girlfriend, Michele Anderson, to leave her or to stop her from plotting to kill her family on Christmas Eve 2007.
