With Ed Murray out as Seattle mayor, here’s how his duties will be handled

City Council President Bruce Harrell will become interim mayor once Ed Murray’s resignation becomes effective at 5 p.m. Wednesday. He will then have five days to decide if he will serve out the remainder of Murray’s term.
