West Coast senators lead bipartisan bid to save Sea Grant program from Trump

A bipartisan group of senators, including a powerful Republican, is working to rescue the federal Sea Grant program marked for extinction in the Trump budget.  The University of Washington has used Sea Grant money in marine research and education programs for four decades.
