UW surgeon, Harborview sued: Fatal surgeries used unapproved bone cement

The families of two women who died on the operating table in Seattle are suing a University of Washington surgeon, the UW, Harborview Medical Center, the state and a bone-cement company. The claim: unapproved use of the cement when it was known to cause lethal clotting.
