Like a few thousand people this weekend (the organizers are claiming 30,000 attendees, which seems a little high if you ask me), I went to the inaugural Upstream Music Fest in Pioneer Square. The experience was mixed (read our reviews, here, here, here and here), but there’s definitely some promise in the Paul Allen-created festival. The SXSW-model is tantalizing and seemed within reach
