The View From the Cheap Seats

We have looked forward for years to the World Cup coming to Seattle, and it finally swept through the city this summer. Much of Seattle’s effort to become “game ready” felt like putting makeup on a pig—a spectacle more than a transformation—but we were excited nonetheless.
