Suspect in Pierce County deputy’s death ordered held without bail

A second suspect — a 52-year-old woman — has been arrested in connection with the death of Deputy Daniel McCartney. Police believe she drove two men to a Frederickson-area home where they later allegedly encountered McCartney, who was killed in a shootout.
