Stevens Pass, North Cascades Highway closed

U.S. 2 at Stevens Pass and state Route 20 are both closed Sunday afternoon due to heavy snow that has created poor visibility at Stevens and an avalanche on the road on SR 20, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
