State Senate offers relief to drivers gouged by Sound Transit

The Washington State Senate votes to reduce car tab costs that skyrocketed after passage of the $54 billion Sound Transit 3 light rail package.Sound Transit was given a sales and use tax exemption to cushion its revenue loss and keep construction going without loss of any planned service.
