Smoke Comes Back to Seattle: What You Need to Know

The haze is back. This time it's coming from wildfires in Central Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. The smoke is expected to last through this evening, according to the National Weather Service.Maps from the Washington Department of Ecology show that air quality in the Seattle area is "unhealthy for sensitive groups," such as people with respiratory issues, children, and elderly folks.
