First person ever contracts West Nile virus from allegedly local mosquito: This is not that exciting. Other people in King County have had West Nile virus, they’ve just gotten it from out-of-state or—worse—eastern Washington. This lady may have gotten it on Bainbridge Island. Most people with West Nile don’t get any symptoms. There may be more cases as climate change continues to be our reali
