Seattle City Hall turned into a cat house

Mayor Ed Murray declared City Hall renamed as Kitty Hall for the day on Thursday. The Mayor's office teamed up with Seattle Animal Shelter to raise awareness of pets without a home. People were invited to come visit with young kittens, though only for a strict 1 minute 15 second time limit to keep the line moving. All cats were available for adoption, including adult cats that were voted on for Kitty Council President.
