School districts scramble as enrollment jumps

Enrollment in Seattle-area schools has grown faster than the state average over the past five years, forcing schools to scrap specialty classrooms, add portables and pay teachers overtime to serve more students. For some districts, help is on the way. Others aren’t so lucky.
