Remembering Tom Foley, NRA's biggest target in Wash.

A distant mirror:  House Speaker Tom Foley didn't cross the National Rifle Association until a mass shooting at Fairchild Air Force Base killed four and wounded 23.  Congress then enacted a 10-year ban on the sale of semi-automatic assault weapons. The NRA came gunning for Foley.
