The effort to move nearly 100 mountain goats from Olympic National Park to the North Cascades required refrigerator trucks, helicopters and the state ferry system. Because capture operations use the powerful synthetic opioid Carfentanil, people handling the goats had to carry opioid-reversing drugs.
