Obituary: Melvyn Poll, opera singer and Huskies booster

Tenor Melvyn Poll, whose opera career took him to stages in Europe, Israel, New York and Seattle, and who coached young singers hoping to make it big, died Thursday. He also sang the national anthem at UW Husky football games.
