Ever since I first saw Bottle Rocket (and subsequently interviewed him and the Wilson brothers at the Rendezvous) 22 years ago this month, I have had the impression that a huge part of Wes Anderson's motivation for making films was to delight me, specifically—a mission he has never failed to carry out beautifully.
