Money politics: Sen. Cantwell raised almost $5M already

Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., raised nearly $5 million during 2017 and ended the year with a campaign warchest of more than $4 million.The three-term Democratic senator has yet to draw a "name" Republican challenger, but is relentlessly collecting campaign cash.  During a quarter-century of campaigns for Congress, Cantwell has raised more than $51 million.
