Match Day: Med students learn where they’re going for residencies

On Friday, Match Day, 178 UW medical students took part in the National Residency Matching Program and learned where they will spend the next three to seven years continuing their training. Almost 36,000 applicants registered and over 31,000 positions were offered nationally.
