Longtime high school basketball coach Jerry Jones dies

Jerry Jones gave much of his life to coaching girls basketball, helping Shorecrest High School win its first state championship earlier this month as a volunteer assistant while battling leukemia. He passed away just 15 days later — Sunday at age 69.
