Whoa! I plead complete ignorance to this drummer, Viola Smith, but there ain't NO DENYING she didn't just bring the heat, she WAS the HEAT!!

Ms. Viola Smith has been called "the most accomplished female drummer" and, after watching this clip of her with Frances Carroll & Her Coquettes, I understand why! NOW THERE'S A SHOW! This clip was filmed in 1939 (!!) and the song is called "Snake Charmer." Oh, teh internet says SHE IS STILL ALIVE!! She's 102!
