Just 15.2 percent of King County ballots have been returned

The 2015 election has been fought for nearly eight months, particularly in Seattle City Council races, but voter turnout so far is a bust. Just 181,254 of King County’s registered voters — or 15.2 percent — had returned ballots as of Monday morning.  The Secretary of State’s Office is promising an updated count late on Monday.
