Insulin pumps, widely used, also have the most problems in FDA’s database

Medical device manufacturers and experts say insulin pumps are safe. But an AP investigation found that the pumps and their components are responsible for the highest number of malfunction, injury and death reports in the FDA’s medical-device database.
