Humans Will Travel to Mars Before Ballard Gets Light Rail

In our last issue, Stranger staff writer Lester Black incorrectly reported that Sound Transit will open light rail lines to Ballard and West Seattle in 2035. In fact, Sound Transit estimates that West Seattle will get light rail by 2030. It is Ballard that won't get light rail until 2035. You know what else is supposed to happen by 2035? Seattle is supposed to grow by another 100,000 people, advances in computing and satellites will make weather forecasting nearly
