How many data angels can be coded into a pin-sized bit of DNA?

While it is still unclear how many angels can dance on the head of pin (at least I've not seen any new research on that topic), a team of engineers and computer scientists from the University of Washington and Microsoft can apparently get about 10,000 gigabytes of data on one.
