Green Lake institution to close...at least for a while

Spud Fish and Chips, a longtime Green Lake institution, will close after the building housing the popular casual dining spot was purchased in June. It seems like just the latest example of the city's former charm being bulldozed to make way for nameless, faceless high-rises, but Spud fans will be happy to know the restaurant's owners are planning to move back into a new building on the site.
