Gordon aims to hit Gulf Coast as hurricane after nightfall

A hurricane warning was in effect Tuesday for the entire Mississippi and Alabama coasts. The National Hurricane Center predicted a "life-threatening" storm surge along parts of the central Gulf Coast.
