Go See Waxahatchee Tonight at the Sunset

Scurry over to the Sunset tonight where Waxahatchee will be playing with Ghost Ease and Us Lights. Waxahatchee is the lo-fi raw-feelings salted slow-pop project of Birmingham singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield (I'm a fan of most everything she does, especially her and her twin sister Allison's previous bands P.S. Eliot and Bad Banana). Waxahatchee recently signed to Merge Records—look for the follow-up to 2013's crushing Cerulean Salt, sometime early this year.
