Connelly: 'Liberty: The 51st State' -- Republicans to hear plan to split Washington

Two state Republican luminaries -- U.S. Rep. Dan Newhouse and U.S. House hopeful Dino Rossi -- are warm-up acts at a GOP dinner where the keynote speaker will call for splitting Washington state in two.State Rep. Matt Shea's plan would create a new 51st state called "Liberty" out of Central and Eastern Washington.
