Connelly: King County Council votes for prepaid election ballot mailings

The state's most populous county will have prepaid ballots.  The King County Council voted Monday to have the county pick up the tab for mail-in ballots.Secretary of State Kim Wyman has asked Gov. Jay Inslee for emergency spending authority to reimburse all of the state's 39 counties, so neither King County nor any other county has the advantage of free postage.
