Connelly: House Speaker Paul Ryan, in a hot seat, to visit Boeing Everett workers Thursday

U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan holds a town meeting with Boeing workers in Everett early on Thursday morning.  The Speaker is in a rough spot, having to toss cold water on President Trump's threat to shut down the federal government, and explaining his refusal in 2015 to go to bat for renewing the U.S. Export Import Bank. Boeing has been the biggest user of the bank, which offers loan guarantees to foreign purchasers of U.S. products.
