Connelly: For Jenny Durkan, 'democracy is a … messy business'

Former U.S. Attorney Jenny Durkan is making her first bid for public office as a candidate for Seattle Mayor.  She has politics in the blood, however, starting with a contentious Durkan family dinner table when she was growing up. She has tried high profile cases and was deeply involved in Seattle Police reform.
