Complaint that kids’ study on vitamin D and asthma is ‘unethical’ leads to changes

Bruce Davidson, a Seattle researcher, was bothered by a University of Pittsburgh research plan at several children’s hospitals to give half of the 400 participants who already have low vitamin D levels a placebo with no vitamin D for a year.
