CDC comes close to an all-clear on romaine as E. coli outbreak nears historic level

Harvesting of romaine from Yuma, Ariz. -- source of the outbreak -- is over and it's likely no longer being sold, the CDC says. The outbreak tolls: 172 people in 32 states have been sickened, 75 hospitalized, including 20 with kidney failure, and one death has been reported.
