Bellevue chooses Texas man to be police chief

Stephen Mylett, a veteran law-enforcement official from Texas, has been named Bellevue’s new police chief, subject to a site visit and background check. The 51-year-old is currently police chief in Southlake, Texas, a small, affluent suburb in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
