As stem-cell clinics multiply, so do legal complaints

Stem-cell clinics are growing fast by offering hope to desperately ill people, but most of their therapies are untested. "What they're really selling is false hope," said one professor. "They're taking a legitimate and developing field of science and using it to prey on patients who are desperate for a cure."
