A Colorado baker, a Richland florist: Do religious beliefs justify discrimination?

A closely divided U.S. Supreme Court takes up case of a Colorado baker, who refused to craft a wedding cake for a gay couple.  Washington has a stake in the argument, given the conviction of a Richland florist for refusing to provide wedding flowers to a same-sex couple.
