19-year-old sentenced to almost 30 years for killing man for his cellphone

A 19-year-old Seattle man was sentenced to 28.6 years in prison Monday for killing a man in order to steal his cellphone in February 2014. David L. Peterson, 54, was on the phone with a 911 operator when he was shot in the chest in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood.
