Minnesota briefs: Wetterling Center opens new office

The Jacob Wetterling Resource Center celebrated moving to a new, larger office in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The resource center, which started in 1990 in St. Joseph, Minn., now has five full-time staff members and provides education, training and support for families of missing children and adults across the U.S. The center, founded in 1990 by Jacob's parents, Patty and Jerry Wetterling, started in St. Joseph, Minn., where 11-year-old Jacob was abducted in 1989 by a masked man.
