Man hospitalized in serious condition after possible assault in St. Paul

A man with a head injury found behind a St. Paul fire station on Sunday remained hospitalized in serious condition on Monday, and police are investigating the case as a possible assault. The circumstances of what happened to the 48-year-old remain under investigation, said Steve Linders, a St. Paul police spokesman.
