Light-rail train derails in downtown Minneapolis, halting service

Metro Transit says it hopes to have light-rail service in downtown Minneapolis restored in time for the evening rush hour after suspending service for hours after a train derailment late Thursday morning.
A loose lid on a rail access box may have been responsible for the derailment.
