Charles Buur was a longtime citizen of Rochester and his store at 107-109 North Broadway had long been known for the finest selection of floor coverings and draperies in southeast Minnesota. In 1927, Buur teamed up with the Luger Furniture Company of St. Paul to create The Luger-Buur's Furniture Company.
