Jury selection paused in Derek Chauvin trial as additional charge is pending

Court proceedings began Monday in the murder case against Derek Chauvin, the fired police officer charged with killing George Floyd on a Minneapolis street corner nearly 10 months ago. Jury selection is scheduled for later this morning.
