Tincher, current the chief of staff for Gov. Mark Dayton, was noted by Carter for nearly a decade fighting for "progressive and diverse candidates across Minnesota as one of the most skilled grassroots organizers in the country," in a prepared statement. Tincher was named chief of staff in February 2014.
