Crowds, Congestion Expected in Downtown St. Paul Saturday

Downtown St. Paul is bracing for a busy weekend as two high-profile events mean big crowds and big congestion. At the Xcel Energy Center, the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament wraps up with championship games at noon and 7 p.m. Because of the crowds, West 7th Street from Walnut Street to Kellogg Boulevard will be closed from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Chestnut Street from Smith Avenue to Exchange Street will also be closed.
