Yuba City Teachers Call For Strike On Thursday

YUBA CITY (CBS13) — About 700 Yuba City Unified School District teachers will go on strike on Thursday, the union announced on Tuesday.

The teachers union and the school district have been in a long battle over teacher pay.
The union did not specify a length for the strike.
A letter sent to the district announcing plans for the Thursday strike called the school district’s priorities “profoundly misplaced.&
