Will They Debate? Stalemate Looms Over U.S. Senate Race

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Candidate debates are usually routine events in political campaigns. But not in California’s U.S. Senate contest.
The two Democrats seeking the seat – Attorney General Kamala Harris and congresswoman Loretta Sanchez – have been unable to agree when and where to hold debates, or even how many there should be.
