SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Facing the wrath of the internet, Whole Foods has pulled a pre-peeled orange product from their stores.
A tweet sent out Thursday morning by Twitter user Nathalie Gordon seems to have sparked the backlash. Gordon posted a photo of the product – pre-peeled oranges packed in a plastic tub – along with the sarcastic caption “If only nature would find a way to cover these oranges so we didn’t need to waste so much plastic on them.”
