Water Rescue Underway On American River In Auburn

AUBURN, Calif (CBS13) — Multiple Agencies are responding to the American River Confluence in Auburn where a body was spotted floating near the confluence of the American River just east of Auburn.
CalFire confirmed that a CHP helicopter, Park Rangers and CalFire crews were working to recover the body that was seen floating on Sunday afternoon.  Multiple witnesses describe the victim as a white male adult with his shirt off, floating down the river.
